A veteran of Desert Storm and Desert Shield, Michael A. Slagle has fought for his country, and now he's ready to fight for you.
Born in Hamilton, Ohio, Slagle graduated from Hamilton High School in 1987, and immediately enlisted in the United States Army. He served as an infantry soldier and as a door gunner on a Blackhawk Helicopter until 1991, when he received an honorable discharge.
Michael graduated in 1995 from Ball State University, Magna Cum Laude, with a Bachelor of Science degree. He graduated from Indiana University School of Law, and was granted a Doctor of Jurisprudence in 1998. He is admitted to practice in the Indiana Supreme Court, all Indiana State Courts, and the U.S. District Court in the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana.
Michael has over 18 years of experience in criminal defense, indigent criminal defense, trials including both jury and bench, trial preparation, legal research and writing, and drafting and litigating Motions to Suppress. He has also handled appeals to the Indiana Court of appeals and the Indiana Supreme Court, including Briefs, and Petitions for Rehearing and Transfer.
Michael Slagle's practice concentrates primarily on Criminal Defense of all Classes of Felonies and Misdemeanors, OWl, DUI, OVWI, Drunk Driving, Traffic Offenses, and City Court Cases. Slagle Law Office also handles Appellate Law, Family Law and Personal Injury cases.
